Kelly embraces her music with a fresh intention to share the message of Natural State Living accompanied with the power of shamanic beats and the true tradition of journeying on the dance floor. Kelly is currently gigging as a circuit DJ and working behind the scenes on live performance aspects to include original tracks with vocals and guitar. This new sound brings an inspiring edge to the dance music scene. "I love festivals and that big party vibe, getting my feet in the dirt at a live gig will be awesome. I am keen to hit the conscious and eco friendly music scene as well and share in that energy as a performer".

Kelly’s natural passion for music keeps the creative fires burning. With an unstoppable desire to create through “feeling and connection”, there is always something on the go for this evolving artist. “It’s not only me writing, my songs come through when I sit with my feelings, with life and allow that to ignite self expression. From that place it streams through, so it’s the universe and me if you know what I mean. That being said, ‘universe’ – ‘one song’, says it all. Music, writing and performing is an outlet for me, an artistic expression of my life experiences", says Kelly, with depth that engages you.

When asked to describe the sounds of her original music Kelly used three words; “earthy, energetic and soul shifting. Somewhere amongst each track the song will journey into these styles with a unique power or a subtle injection of something cool, somewhere cool". Sweeping with inspiring vocals, warm electronics and raw acoustic sounds the tracks are rich, driving and speak a truth of quality house music. 

Kelly is currently in the studio collaborating with selected artists and producers. The mixes are due for release when that 'finished feeling' permeates the heart of the creators and the soul of the studio. Stay tuned!

DJ Kelly Lynch...pure underground house with intention

It’s the presence and connection. A personality that reflects quality, edge and creative essence. It’s a performance of the highest energy. It’s Lynch magic.

Kelly Lynch’s technical accuracy, live mixing and creative process are a product of 15 years in the dance music industry. Respected by promoters and peers for her ability to deliver a solid set every time, Kelly Lynch is a consistent performer and likeable personality. “I am a technical artist. I am providing an atmosphere. I believe people in my space deserve to be acknowledged and responded to. I never prepare a set. I respond to the collective energy, people’s moods, the crowd changing and the space,” says Kelly with confidence only experience can deliver. 

One of Kelly’s major career evolutions came as the mastermind behind the famed Colossus 2 dance party. It paralleled parties such as Happy Valley and Prodigy. Attracting MTV and Channel V this really came as Kelly’s first testimony to her drive and technical know-how of event production and party delivery. Kelly went on to produce the ‘Outrage’ Hi-NRG House Series @ the popular ‘Rooftop’ venue, ‘Sundays @ Creamed’ in Double Bay, Out @ NV in  Darlinghurst and conceptualised, promoted and hosted the iconic 'Tasty' at The Bank Hotel in Newtown for four years. Kelly was also the resident DJ at The Bank during this time playing with weekly guests that included a strong line up of A list DJ's and Sydney's 'up and comers' giving them the opportunity for an industry break. These events attracted loyal punters to pack the dance floors week after week.

Kelly Lynch is an inspiration to other DJs. Her work has covered major dance and club parties, corporate & specialist events and a string of club residencies and guest appearances through out Australia. “I love that big driving progressive house sound, it really appeals to me. When I hear a record I have an instinctive feeling that it will work. I can envisage the place and crowd I would play it to. I have ‘goose-bump’ tracks, when I put them on my whole body feels it,” she adds with a smile that instantly endears you.

Kelly struck me immediately when she added at some point of the interview, “when I play I want each person to know that, hey, I’ve got you in my vision and you are an important part of my night.”

Firing at 126-130bpm with a driving bass line through to her well recognised progressive sound, Kelly Lynch is able to really mix things up to take the punter on a journey of unique underground quality and sheer technical brilliance with the audience left to believe in magic. Lynch magic.
